I work for arXiv.org supporting the efforts of our volunteer moderators and assisting users.
I have been designing databases, websites and information systems since 1996, including work on LAMP servers with php, mysql, css, wordpress, drupal, and creating custom CMS applications. Most of my work has been as a jack-of-all-trades with diverse experiences in desktop publishing, event planning, volunteer management and non-profit fundraising and financials.

One of my interests is ethics. Understanding the different principles we believe in, how closely we align out daily lives with those principles, and what choices we make when principles conflict.
When not at work, I am involved with EcoVillage Ithaca and enjoying the outdoors with my family. I also run the Zanshin Dojo for karate, ju-justu, aiki-justu, and kobudo.
